Home > About > President's Message Greetings to one and all! It is truly an honor to welcome you to our East Coast Chapter, Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (ECCTAI), web site, please avail yourself of all the information found here-in. I am very proud to have the opportunity to participate in the leadership of this outstanding group that has as its historic lineage the original Tuskegee Airmen of (1941-1949). ECCTAI is located in our Nations Capital, Metropolitan Washington, DC. Our mission is to help provide an enriching environment so as to convey the past history, current activities, and future vision of our total ECCTAI membership. We do this through our Speaker’s Bureau, Youth in Aviation Program (YIAP), Scholarship Awards, educational assistance grants, and the newsletter and website. These are our current activities to help convey ECCTAI’s message to our young people -- the fields of aviation and aerospace are viable and rewarding career choices. Our mission is to inspire and motivate young men and women toward careers in aviation and aerospace so that they might carry on the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. This process begins with mentoring and fostering the importance of education in an environment of ever-changing technology.
