|  Colonel
Taro Kimura Jones was born on 4 August 1957, in Washington D.C. He graduated from
Woodrow Wilson High School in 1975. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Howard University in Sociology in 1980. Upon graduation from Howard University,
he was commissioned a second lieutenant though the Air Force Reserve Officer Training
Corps. (ROTC).
Colonel Jones came on active duty in 1980, and became a flight line maintenance
officer. He was assigned to McGuire AFB, NJ in 1981, where he held various maintenance
officer positions. In 1985, he applied and was accepted into a special duty assignment
in the 89th Military Airlift Wing, which provides airlift for the President of
the United States, Vice President, and members of Congress and foreign dignitaries.
In 1988, Colonel Jones left the active duty Air Force to accept a full-time position
as the Avionics Maintenance Officer for the 113th Wing, District of Columbia Air
National Guard. Colonel Jones has served in various maintenance and management
functions within the 113th Wing. He is presently the 113th Mission Support Group
Commander, encompassing Civil Engineering, Logistics Readiness, Security Forces
Squadrons; Communications, Services, Mission Support Flights; Contracting and
Recruiting.
Colonel Jones is a graduate of the in-resident course for both the Squadron Officers'
School (S0S), and the Air Command and Staff College (ACSC). He is also a graduate
of the DoD Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP), Reserve Component
National Security Course (RCNSC) and the Air War College. Colonel Jones is a member
of the Board of Advisors for the National Graduate University.
Colonel
Jones serves on the Mayor's Advisory Board on Veterans Affairs for the District
of Columbia. He is a Life Member of the National Guard Association of the United
States (NGAUS), past president and Life Member of the National Guard Association
of the District of Columbia (NGADC), associate member of the DC National Guard
Enlisted Association (DCNGEA), a member of the Logistics Officers Association
(LOA), a Life Member of the Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) and a member
of the Historical Society of Washington (HSW). He is also the president of the
East Coast Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (ECCTAI), and a member of the
Air Force Cadet Officer Mentoring Assistance Program (AFCOMAP). Colonel Jones
holds a certificate as an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic (A&P license).

Jones has been awarded the Airmen's Medal, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal,
Air Force Commendation Medal with 1 device, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force
Longevity Service Award with 4 devices, Air Force Training Ribbon, National Defense
Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding
Unit Award with 11 devices, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Air Force Training Ribbon,
District of Columbia Meritorious Service Medal.

Jones is single, resides in the District of Columbia, and proud to be a third
generation Washingtonian.

Carter was born in Chicago, Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social
Sciences from George Williams College, Downers Grove, Illinois; and a Master of
Arts degree in Military Studies in Air Warfare from American Military University,
Manassas, Virginia. His professional military education includes Squadron Officers
School, Air Command and Staff College, and, Air War College Col
Carter's Air Force career spanned 38 years that included a one-year tour in Viet-Nam.
Following four years of active duty, he joined the Air Force Reserve at Chicago-O'Hare,
and was commissioned through the Deserving Airman Program. His expertise
in security forces, command, leadership/management, strategic planning and execution
senior training and development lead him through progressively challenging assignments
to his promotion to Lieutenant Colonel. Col Carter culminated his service in the
Air Force as the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Chief, Plans, Policy,
and Programs Division - Air Staff, Security Forces Directorate, Pentagon, Washington,
DC.
Concurrent
with his military career, Col Carter provided over thirty years of service with
the U.S. Postal Service. He held many management and leadership positions, including
postmaster, and spearheaded significant special assignments and diversity development.
He was also a lead instructor, certified by the American Council on Education,
teaching the full spectrum of management and leadership courses at the Postal
Service National Management Academy, Potomac, Maryland. He championed the issuance
of the Benjamin O. Davis, Sr. stamp commemorative and was a key mover in the issuance
of the Kwanzaa stamp and other stamps honoring the diversity of African-American
contributions.
He
has served as a board officer of the Capital Area Tuskegee Airmen organization
and is also a lifetime member of the Reserve Officers Association, the Air Force
Association, Military Order of World Wars, and Veterans of World Wars.

Lt Col D. Bobby Knight is currently the Joint Staff senior exercise
planner with responsibility for development of Joint Chiefs of Staff policy for
the management of 90 joint/multinational military exercises conducted by USCINCEUR,
CINCJFCOM, and NATO. He coordinates Presidentially directed approval and reporting
procedures for exercises and deployments, which are reviewed by National Security
Council, the Department of State, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and
Joint Staff

Col Knight was born in Atmore AL. He entered the Air Force in May 1980, receiving
his commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Alabama
State University He has held numerous operational command and control positions
to include commander, chief battle management, operations officer/ assistant operations
officer, flight commander, wing standardization and evaluation weapons controller,
and USAF Aggressor flight commander and controller He served as 9AF/United States
Central Command Air Forces Chief of Tactical Air Control Systems Radar, and Headquarters
United States Central Command Air Forces communications planner for Operations
Desert Shield and Storm. Lt Col Knight is a master air battle manager with nearly
2,000 hours in the E-3 including 482 combat hours.

| William
E. Broadwater was the third president of the Tuskegee Airmen Incorporated and
a native of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He was trained at Tuskegee Army Air Field
during World War 11 and served with the 477th Medium Bomber Group. After
the war he became an Air Traffic Controller. During his 29-year career with the
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), he served as Chief of Airspace, Airports,
Obstructions and Air Traffic Rules Division. His performance with FAA was reflected
in the many awards that he received. Mr.
Broadwater now operates his own consulting firm, which specializes in technical
services associated with airspace, regulations, air traffic control operations,
aerospace education and aviation litigation. His clients include major airlines,
the military services, city, county and state aviation authorities. His professional
and community service include: Traffic Controller's Association, Civic Association,
P-TA and Flying Club.
