The East Coast Chapter, Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. is honored to host the 40th Annual TAI National Convention, 3-7 August 2011 at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD!

Please come back to visit this site for more information on pre-convention events, events/activities in and around the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, and convention planning efforts. We are very excited to bring this event to you to celebrate the 70th anniversary of our treasured airmen.

Convention Registration

The official convention registration website is now available! Please click the below link to complete your registration application online using the website. All registrants will receive a confirmation email upon completion of the registration process. Please keep this email in your records, as you will need the confirmation number on the email to receive your convention materials upon arrival at the Gaylord National.

The Living the Tuskegee Airmen Legacy Challenge

The Tuskegee Airmen have had many accomplishments, which have impacted numerous people around the world, especially their families. As part of this year's convention, we would like to extend an invitation to TAI Heritage Members to share their experience as descendants of DOTAs. Guidance for Military Participation in the 2011 TAI Convention

Please visit the Military Awards page to view information on submitting nominations for military awards at the 2011 TAI National Convention. Award winners will receive recognition during the Military Luncheon on August 5, 2011.

2011 Office of Diversity Management Memo

Guidance for Federal employee participation in the 2011 TAI Convention

All Military personnel will adhere to the following dress requirements while participating in the 2011 TAI Convention:

   -- Uniform of the day for ALL forums, business sessions, etc is Service Dress
   (Class "A"; Summer White; Summer Service "C" or similar/equivalent uniform
   combination).

   -- Uniform for the TAI Awards Gala (semi-formal) is Mess Dress/Enlisted
   Semi-Formal uniform (Blue Dress "A," Dinner Dress Blue or White--as
   appropriate; Army Dress Blue Uniforms or similar/equivalent uniform
   combination).
