You are invited to participate in the 6th Annual Southwest Airlines Continuing the Legacy in Aviation contest. Students between the ages of 11-18 may participate by submitting a short aviation-based essay. The selected winner has the opportunity to participate in a hands-on-aviation experience at Southwest Airlines Headquarters in Dallas, TX. See "Red Tails," the blockbuster movie about the heroic exploits of the Tuskegee Airmen during WWII.
The long awaited feature film "Red Tails," a Lucasfilm Ltd. production, has been many years in the making and is finally here. This film telling the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, depicts the true nature of the Tuskegee Experience and is a great opportunity to learn about the legacy and lessons of all the airmen.
